Chef Instructor Create Kitchen & Bar Aurora, CO Job Details Part-time $25 - $28 an hour 19 hours ago Qualifications Culinary Arts Instructor-led training (training delivery method) Classroom experience Working with adult populations Classroom Teaching Adult education Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dynamic part-time Chef Instructor to teach adult classes here at Create Kitchen in the Stanley Marketplace. In this role, you will lead engaging classes and create a vibrant learning environment that encourages creativity, skill development, and confidence in the kitchen. Our classes are 3 hours long, running from 6-9 PM Tuesday-Saturday evenings. They are 3 courses, including an appetizer, entree and dessert, and classes generally have 12 guests Responsibilities Lead hands-on 3 hour cooking classes for adults, ensuring an engaging and inclusive learning experience Oversee safety standards and ensure proper handling of kitchen equipment and ingredients Requirements Proven experience in culinary arts with a strong background in cooking techniques, including baking Prior instructing experience We are looking for someone to work 3-4x a month teaching adult classes. Shifts start between 2 and 3 PM and end around 10 PM. Pay is hourly plus tips, which are split equally with the bartender and dishwasher based on hours worked.
