The ideal candidate will work in various sushi making tasks, ensuring that all meals are prepared safely and efficiently. Must be able to work at below 50 degree environment. Responsibilities Work in sushi preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the cleanliness and safety of all food products. Support the culinary team in food preparation tasks, including cooking and plating dishes. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards. Help with inventory management, including receiving and storing supplies as needed. Participate in catering events by assisting with setup, service, and cleanup. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal service. Experience Servsafe food manager certificate is required. Previous experience in a kitchen setting or food service environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with sushi preparation techniques and food safety practices is a must. Experience working in a dietary department or as a dietary aide is advantageous. A passion for catering and providing excellent service within a kitchen environment.
