As a key leader in our kitchen, you will assist the Executive Chef in overseeing daily food operations, ensuring exceptional quality, safety, and presentation across all dining experiences. Duties Assist in supervising all kitchen operations, ensuring adherence to food safety sanitizing procedures and quality standards Lead food preparation and cooking activities, maintaining consistency and excellence in every dish served Manage inventory control and food management processes to minimize waste and optimize stock levels Oversee menu planning and ensure timely execution of dishes aligned with restaurant standards Supervise and motivate kitchen staff, including training new team members and managing shift schedules Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring seamless execution from setup to service Enforce strict food handling protocols, maintaining a safe and hygienic environment at all times Support the dietary department by preparing specialized meals as needed for dietary restrictions or health requirements Monitor food service operations during busy hours, ensuring prompt serving and customer satisfaction Collaborate with restaurant management on cost control measures and inventory management strategies Uphold high standards of hospitality, leading by example in serving guests with professionalism and enthusiasm Experience Proven supervisory experience within a busy kitchen or restaurant setting, ideally in fine dining or catering environments Extensive culinary experience with strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices Background in banquet service, catering, or large-scale event food production is highly desirable Demonstrated leadership abilities in managing teams, shift management, and kitchen operations Familiarity with inventory management systems and cost control procedures in the food industry Experience working within the dietary department or handling special dietary needs is a plus Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and compliance with health regulations Previous restaurant experience emphasizing quality service delivery and hospitality excellence Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and high standards of food quality Join us as a Sous Chef where your culinary talents will shine!
