Job Description

Location:
Fairfield County, CT (Relocation assistance provided)
Salary:
$120,000-$150,000

Competitive benefits package, bonus opportunity, relocation assistance package A coastal Italian-Mediterranean restaurant in Greenwich, CT, is seeking a Head Chef / Chef de Cuisine to lead a refined kitchen.
Qualifications:
10+ years of fine dining culinary experience. 5+ years of fine dining culinary management experience. Strong knowledge of seafood, handmade pasta, Italian, and/or Mediterranean cuisine. Experience with food cost, labor cost, inventory, sanitation, and team training.
Responsibilities:
Lead daily back-of-house operations, kitchen standards, prep, service, and presentation. Train, mentor, and manage the culinary team through pre-opening and daily execution. Oversee ordering, receiving, inventory, recipe costing, food cost, labor cost, and waste control. Maintain food safety, cleanliness, consistency, and polished guest-focused culinary execution.
