In this role, you will be responsible for preparing authentic tandoori dishes with precision and flair, ensuring each plate meets the highest standards of flavor, presentation, and food safety. Your expertise will help create memorable dining experiences for our guests, showcasing the rich flavors of traditional Indian cuisine. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where culinary creativity and attention to detail are celebrated. Duties Prepare a variety of tandoori dishes, including meats, vegetables, and bread, using traditional tandoor ovens with skill and consistency Ensure all food handling and preparation adhere to strict food safety standards and hygiene practices Collaborate with kitchen staff to develop and refine menu items, incorporating feedback and seasonal ingredients Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tandoor station, including proper storage of ingredients and utensils Assist in meal preparation for catering events or special functions as needed Demonstrate excellent knife skills for ingredient prep and ensure efficient food production during busy service times Serve dishes with professionalism, engaging with guests when appropriate to enhance their dining experience Experience Proven experience working as a Tandoor Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or fine dining setting Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling specific to Indian cuisine or tandoori dishes Prior experience in menu planning and executing authentic Indian recipes Knowledge of kitchen safety protocols and food industry standards for cleanliness and sanitation Familiarity with dietary department procedures and dietary aide responsibilities is a plus Experience working in catering environments or large-scale food service operations preferred Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards Join us to bring vibrant flavors to life through your culinary expertise!
