Full Job Description Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and organized Catering Chef to lead food preparation and execution for catered events. The Catering Chef is responsible for creating high-quality dishes, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring all food meets safety and presentation standards.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes for catering events Plan and execute menus based on client and event needs Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and food costs Lead, train, and support kitchen staff to ensure efficient service Ensure all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations are followed Oversee kitchen setup, breakdown, and cleanliness Maintain consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Chef, preferably in catering or events Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety standards Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Strong leadership and communication skills Excellent organization and time management Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the entire shift. Legal work documents and a valid driver's license.
Pay:
$22.00 - $30.00 per hour
