Overview ABCC is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary Team. This energetic leader will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our Members and guests, during the morning and lunch services in both of our kitchens. The ideal candidate will bring passion for food, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to culinary excellence. As Sous Chef, you will support the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef in managing kitchen operations (both kitchens), supervising the Team, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation are consistently met. Duties Assist in overseeing daily kitchen operations for the Tortugas Lounge (breakroom), Pete's Turn dining outlet, and main Clubhouse kitchen, ensuring smooth workflow during the morning and lunch service periods Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, promoting teamwork and maintaining high morale Lead food preparation (including expediting) cooking activities to deliver high-quality dishes aligned with menu standards Manage inventory control and food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure freshness Coordinate with the catering and banquet Teams to execute special events and large-scale functions Enforce strict adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation standards Support menu planning efforts by contributing creative ideas that enhance culinary offerings Skills Extensive experience in both casual and fine dining environments with strong culinary skills in food production and presentation Proven supervising experience within busy kitchen settings, demonstrating leadership and Team management capabilities Knowledge of banquet service, catering operations, and restaurant management practices Familiarity with inventory management, control procedures, and food safety protocols Ability to excel in shift management, kitchen organization, and food service operations Strong understanding of dietary requirements and accommodations within the food industry Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate team members and collaborate effectively Join us as a key part of our vibrant hospitality Team!
