$20.00-$22.50 per hour + tips (estimated around $50/week) Full Job Description White Harbor Sushi is a premium sushi delivery and takeout concept in Atlantic Beach focused on high-quality fish, clean flavors, and precise execution. We are building a strong team that cares about quality, consistency, cleanliness, and professionalism. We are looking for an experienced Sushi Chef who takes pride in their craft, works efficiently, and can maintain high standards in a fast-paced kitchen. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow with an ambitious premium sushi brand from an early stage. Responsibilities Prepare sushi rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and other menu items to a high standard Break down, portion, and handle fish properly and safely Maintain consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation Keep your station clean, organized, stocked, and ready for service Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times Assist with prep, rice, sauces, garnishes, and daily station setup Work efficiently during busy service while maintaining quality Communicate clearly and work well with the rest of the team Help maintain kitchen cleanliness and operational standards Qualifications 2+ years of sushi experience preferred Strong knife skills Experience preparing sushi rolls, nigiri, and sashimi Knowledge of proper fish handling and storage Ability to work in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing quality Strong attention to detail and presentation Reliable, professional, and team-oriented Food Handler Certification preferred, or willingness to obtain one quickly Personal chef knife preferred Benefits Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Strong growth opportunity into a Head Kitchen Chef role Schedule Day shift Evening shift Weekends Apply Please send your resume and a short note about your sushi experience, availability, and previous restaurant background.
