Join a distinguished private boarding school as our next Executive Chef and help manage a dynamic, seven-day culinary program. Pay Type:
$75,000 - $80,000 Salary

What you'll do: Plan cycle menus and lead daily production (hands on). Enforce safety protocols and lead by example. Deliver an outstanding example of customer service to your team and to the community we serve. Manage ordering and inventory. Deliver incredible catering events rivaling 5 star restaurants. Participate in the interviewing, hiring, training and ongoing mentoring of the team. Participate in general location management with the Food Service management team. Produce high quality scratch batch cooking Manage and train the kitchen staff Demonstrate exemplary customer service skills Create and produce menus Implement and maintain HACCP standards Develop client and customer relationships Deliver fabulous catering results Communicate clearly, professionally and effectively Deliver budgeted financial results Create a positive team environment Manage ordering and inventory Ensure

safety procedures are followed What you'll need: Customer service skills High end catering and high-volume banquet experience. Substantial culinary knowledge: trends, techniques, and processes. Menu planning and production experience. Minimum five years culinary experience. Minimum five years managing others in the kitchen. Ability to lead, not manage others and to mentor the team. Desire to mentor the team and lift others to continue a culture of extreme ownership. Happy disposition, both for community and team interactions. Awesome references and solid resume. Current ServSafe® certification, as well as local health department certification, where required. Minimum 3 years of prior food service management experience, academic community experience a plus Knowledgeable in current food trends Community/ service minded Detail oriented Energetic demeanor Strong work ethic and integrity Timely responses to communication Proficiency with computers Culinary degree preferred but not required About SAGE As a Manager with SAGE, you'll lead a talented culinary team in a collaborative environment where passionate people come together to create great food and feed the future.
