Full Job Description Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Sushi Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of traditional and modern sushi preparation techniques, including handling raw fish, rolling sushi, and maintaining high food quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Prepare a variety of sushi dishes, including rolls, sashimi, and nigiri. Expertly cut and handle raw fish while maintaining freshness and quality. Ensure proper food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards. Maintain an organized and clean work environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to manage ingredient inventory and ordering. Develop new and innovative sushi menu items when required.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or similar role. Strong knife skills and expertise in handling raw fish. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and presentation. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
