Job Description

Summary of Responsibilities Here at Beignets and Brew, we want to bring a positive, youthful, fun vibe while our guests stop by for a quick pick-me-up or a place to sit back and relax while enjoying our delicious beignets, coffee and beer/wine! We want to ensure our guests have a very memorable experience from the beginning to the end. This company started because of a simple beignet idea. Beignets are what we are known for - it's even in our name! Your goal as a Beignet Chef is to inspire customers through your cooking and keep them coming back for more. We want our customers to be a part of the Beignets and Brew Family!
Essential Functions:
Heats fryer up and makes sure oil is in temp. Uses a timer for certain products. Takes out frozen beignets and places them on baking sheets. Cut whole beignets into beignet bites. Warms up all sauces. Preps/stocks certain items throughout the shift. Keeps track of all ticket orders and ticket times. Cleans and sanitizes the designated station(s) and all equipment. Washes dishes. Takes out trash. Performs any additional tasks necessary to help Krewe members/managers.
Required Experience:
Must be able to work within the State and Federal guidelines.
Physical Requirements:
Carries a positive attitude to ALL Krewe members and managers, even while under pressure. Ability to maintain face-to-face interaction and communication with guests and Krewe members Ability to walk and stand throughout the shifts. Ability to bend, lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
Working Conditions:
May be required to work late nights, weekends & holidays. Guest may want to sit on the patio area outside (weather permitting) and patio area needs to be cleaned and presentable at all times. Krewe members must be in full uniform and appropriate hygiene is required.
Pay:
$14.00 - $16.00 per hour
