Job Description

What You'll Do As a Chef De Partie, you will oversee food production within your assigned station while ensuring the highest standards of quality, presentation, safety, and service. You will work closely with our Executive Chef, Executive Sous Chef, and Culinary Leadership Team to create memorable dining experiences for residents and guests.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing and overseeing food production according to recipes, quality standards, and dietary requirements. Ensuring timely preparation and presentation of menu items. Maintaining high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation. Assisting with menu development, recipe creation, and culinary innovation. Monitoring inventory levels and helping minimize waste. Ensuring compliance with sanitation, food safety, and Department of Health standards. Supporting catered events, special functions, and community events. Coaching, mentoring, and training culinary team members. Assisting with kitchen operations, scheduling, and workflow coordination. Serving as a culinary leader and role model while fostering teamwork and professionalism. What We're Looking For Five or more years of experience in a high-volume culinary environment required. Experience in healthcare, senior living, hospitality, country club, resort, or similar food service settings preferred. Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills. Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and quality standards. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. ServSafe Certification or the ability to obtain certification upon hire. Passion for providing exceptional service to older adults.
