Duties Lead and supervise the culinary team to ensure efficient kitchen operations and high-quality food production. Develop creative menus that highlight seasonal ingredients and meet diverse dietary needs. Oversee food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste through effective inventory management. Coordinate catering events, banquets, and special functions with attention to detail and timely execution. Train staff on cooking techniques, food presentation, and customer service standards to promote continuous improvement. Oversee shift management by scheduling staff efficiently and ensuring smooth daily operations across all service periods. Maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment that adheres to safety standards and promotes teamwork. Collaborate with restaurant management on menu planning, pricing strategies, and overall food service quality enhancements. Monitor food costs and labor expenses to optimize profitability while maintaining exceptional quality. Experience Proven experience as a Chef with extensive background in fine dining environments or high-volume catering settings. Demonstrated supervisory experience managing culinary teams in fast-paced hospitality settings. Strong knowledge of food production processes, kitchen management, and food safety regulations (such as HACCP). Experience in banquet service, event catering, or large-scale food service operations is highly desirable. Skilled in inventory control, cost management, and menu planning within the food industry. Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment. Background in restaurant management or hospitality industry roles that emphasize customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
