Experienced Sushi Chef Drifters | Indian Harbour Beach Drifters is looking for an experienced Sushi Chef to join our small, hardworking team. We are a surf inspired restaurant focused on fresh ingredients, clean execution, and thoughtful presentation. Our kitchen is open, so guests see the care and precision that goes into every roll. We take pride in what leaves the pass and we are looking for someone who feels the same.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years professional sushi experience Strong rolling skills including maki, specialty rolls, nigiri, and sashimi Experience cutting and portioning whole fish Solid knife skills and proper fish handling knowledge Ability to stay organized and composed during busy dinner service Reliable, punctual, and team oriented

Responsibilities:

Prepare sushi rolls, nigiri, and sashimi to recipe and presentation standards Cut and portion fish properly for service Maintain a clean and organized station Assist with prep and support the team as needed If you take pride in clean cuts, tight rolls, and consistent execution in an open kitchen environment, we would love to meet you.
