  • Part-time, Full-time Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Line Chef to join our vibrant culinary team.
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items, supporting kitchen operations, and ensuring exceptional food presentation. This is a front-of-house and cook crossover position. You will complete 30 hours of structured, hands-on training, after which you will be expected to independently manage your position during a shift.

The location is inside Shell gas station and is not a stand alone restaurant. Hourly pay

Responsibilities Assist in food preparation and cooking according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality. Support the kitchen team in managing daily operations, including inventory control, food handling, and sanitation procedures. Collaborate with supervisors and team members to execute menu plans efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation. Participate in catering events, banquets, and special functions, ensuring timely and professional service delivery. Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to food safety regulations and hygiene practices. Contribute to inventory management by monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies as needed. Skills Proven experience in food production within a restaurant is preferred but is not a mandatory requirement. Strong knowledge of food safety standards, handling procedures, and dietary requirements. Excellent culinary skills including cooking techniques, menu planning support, and food presentation. Experience with inventory management, cost control, and kitchen management systems. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
