This role offers a unique opportunity to craft innovative, authentic dishes that elevate the dining experience and set new standards in culinary excellence. As the driving force behind the kitchen, you will oversee all food operations, inspire your team, and ensure every plate reflects the highest quality and authenticity. Your leadership will be instrumental in establishing our reputation for exceptional Indian cuisine in a fine dining setting, delivering memorable experiences to our guests. Duties Develop and refine menus that showcase authentic Indian flavors with a modern, fine dining twist, ensuring consistency and creativity. Lead, supervise, and motivate the culinary team to achieve excellence in food preparation, presentation, and service standards. Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations including food production, inventory management, and food safety compliance to maintain top-tier quality. Manage food costs, inventory control, and procurement processes to optimize resources while maintaining high standards. Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery during all shifts, including catering and banquet events. Implement rigorous food safety protocols and ensure adherence to health regulations across all kitchen activities. Foster a collaborative team environment focused on continuous improvement, skill development, and culinary innovation. Skills Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in Indian cuisine and fine dining environments. Proven supervising experience managing diverse kitchen teams in high-volume settings such as restaurants or catering operations. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop staff while maintaining high morale. Experience in banquet service, catering, and event planning to support large-scale functions. Expertise in inventory management, food handling, food safety standards, and kitchen management systems. Excellent menu planning skills with an eye for detail in food presentation and flavor balance. Knowledge of food industry best practices including food production, food service management, shift management, and hospitality standards.
