Sushi Chef

Job Overview We are seeking a Sushi Chef to join our culinary team at Ono Poke in Parrish, FL. You will be responsible for crafting authentic and beautiful sushi dishes as offered on our menu to delight our guests. This is a full-time hourly position + shared tips. This position may ocassionally make poke bowls to order, when needed, as well. Responsibilities Prepare and assemble a variety of sushi rolls according to our menu and presentation standards Ensure all food handling, safety, and sanitation standards are strictly followed in compliance with health regulations Assist in kitchen operations including food preparation for sushi, and ocassionally plating poke bowls when needed Manage ingredient inventory, monitor freshness, and communicate supply needs to management to ensure a seamless workflow at your station Qualifications Previous restaurant and/or sushi experience is preferred Job training will be provided Reliability is a must.
