In this pivotal role, you will lead kitchen operations, oversee food preparation, and ensure the delivery of exceptional dining experiences across fine dining and catering settings. Your leadership will inspire your team to maintain the highest standards of food quality, safety, and service excellence. Responsibilities Supervise daily kitchen activities, ensuring smooth shift operations and adherence to all safety and sanitation standards Lead food production efforts, including menu planning, recipe development, and ensuring consistent quality in all dishes Manage inventory control and ordering processes to optimize food costs while maintaining sufficient stock levels for service needs Oversee food handling, preparation, and presentation to uphold the highest standards of food safety and hygiene Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery during events, banquets, and regular dining hours Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff to foster a motivated team environment focused on continuous improvement Implement effective kitchen management practices, including shift management, scheduling, and operational procedures Experience Proven experience in banquet service, fine dining establishments, or catering environments with a strong background in food production and kitchen management Demonstrated supervising experience with a track record of leading diverse culinary teams effectively Extensive dietary department experience with knowledge of special dietary needs and food allergy protocols Strong background in food service management including inventory control, menu planning, and food safety compliance Hands-on culinary experience encompassing cooking techniques, food handling, and kitchen operations within the food industry Experience in restaurant management or hospitality settings with a focus on team leadership and customer satisfaction Knowledge of bartending is a plus for roles involving beverage service alongside culinary responsibilities Join us if you're passionate about elevating culinary standards through leadership, innovation, and dedication.
