Pool Bar chefs are expected to follow recipes and are expected to have a high level of customer service skills and to work collaboratively with follow teammates. This position reports directly to the Restaurant Manager and General Manager, and is expected to work collaboratively with the food and beverage team to maintain efficient operations, consistent quality standards, and timely service throughout all operating hours. This position is Part Time, with the potential of full-time hours during Season (Oct 1 - Apr 30) and part-time hours in off season (May 1 - Sept 30). Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prep all necessary food and menu items to ensure consistency and a quality product is being delivered. Continuously set and meet goals to ensure guest and staff satisfaction as well as the financial success of the establishment Ensure the highest levels of quality, consistency, and attention to detail in all aspects of food preparation, presentation, and service. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and food preparation area in accordance with company standards and local health regulations. Communicate ordering needs to management. Good understanding of useful computer programs (MS office, POS, excel, word, restaurant inventory system). Credentials in health and safety training. Ensure health and safety protocols are adhered to. Safety and Environmental Responsibilities Follow SHM Safety and Environmental rules and complete required related training. Wear proper personal protective equipment (may include safety glasses, gloves, life jackets and/or hard hats) as required for the task or work area. Report all accidents, injuries, spills and near misses immediately.
