We are leaders in rehabilitation for brain and spinal cord injury, behavioral health and skilled nursing care. Employer is currently interviewing for the position of Chef. Chefs are important team members that perform the following duties at the facility: The work schedule for this position is: Shift 1
- 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with rotating weekends
- Full time with excellent benefit package Shift 2
- 10:00 a.
m. to 6:30 p.m. with rotating weekends-Full time with excellent benefit package. Requirements for this position are AS Culinary Arts. Previous experience in a hospital setting, skilled nursing facility, school or commercial cleaning is preferred.
Qualifications:
AS Culinary Arts preferred . A minimum of 2 yrs experience in high quantity prepping and cooking. Serve Safe and Food Manager Certification preferred. Must be able to work well with others. Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals for clients and staff. Works in a heat and busy environment of the kitchen area and functions within structured time lines. Stands and walks short distance most of the day. Must be able to stoop for, reach for, and lift kitchen equipment and supplies, Must be able to lift article in excess of 50 lbs throughout the day. Shifts are from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday-Saturday Must be Authorized to work in the
