In this pivotal role, you will assist the Executive Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, and maintaining a lively, efficient work environment. Your leadership and culinary expertise will inspire your team to deliver outstanding dining experiences, whether in fine dining settings or large-scale catering events. Duties Assist the Executive Chef in supervising kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers, fostering a collaborative and motivated team atmosphere Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to safety standards across all menus Manage inventory control and food ordering processes to minimize waste while maintaining sufficient stock levels for daily operations Coordinate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and ensure compliance with health regulations Support shift management by delegating tasks, monitoring kitchen flow, and resolving any operational issues promptly Lead by example in food handling, safety procedures, and cleanliness standards to uphold the highest hygiene practices Assist in menu planning, catering preparations, and special event setups to deliver memorable culinary experiences Requirements Proven experience in banquets, fine dining establishments, or large-scale catering environments with a strong background in food production and service management Demonstrated supervising experience with team management skills that motivate staff and promote a positive work environment Extensive culinary experience including cooking techniques, food preparation, and kitchen management in the food industry Knowledge of inventory management, cost control, and food safety regulations Strong leadership qualities with the ability to oversee multiple responsibilities efficiently under pressure Experience in restaurant or hospitality settings with a focus on customer satisfaction and service excellence Familiarity with menu planning, shift management, catering operations, and dietary accommodations is highly desirable Join us as a Sous Chef where your culinary passion meets leadership!
