May 22, 2026 Be an early applicant Required Years of Experience 4 years Job Details Position Summary The Chef de Partie is responsible for the ownership, execution, and consistency of a designated station within the kitchen. This role requires strong technical ability, organization, and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering refined, thoughtful food in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. You will work closely with Chef Jared and the leadership team to execute menus with precision while contributing to the ongoing evolution of the kitchen. Key Responsibilities Own and operate a specific station (Garde Manger, Saucier, or Pastry) with consistency, organization, and pride Execute dishes with precision, maintaining standards of flavor, texture, and presentation Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked station at all times Participate in daily line checks and uphold readiness for service Follow and enforce proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards Assist with prep, production, and service across stations as needed Communicate clearly with team members to ensure smooth service execution Monitor product quality and report any issues immediately Assist in inventory, ordering, and minimizing waste within your station Contribute to seasonal menu development and creative input when appropriate Expectations Strong work ethic and sense of accountability Attention to detail and consistency in execution Ability to work clean, organized, and with urgency Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow within the team Positive, professional attitude and respect for the craft, the team, and the guest experience Qualifications 3+ years of experience in a professional kitchen Experience in high-volume and/or detail-oriented kitchens preferred Strong knife skills and foundational cooking techniques Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays Compensation & Schedule Hourly position with overtime paid at 1.5x for hours worked over 40/week Full-time schedule expected (typically 45-50 hours/week depending on business needs) About The Alden The Alden is a chef-driven restaurant focused on thoughtful, ingredient-driven cuisine that balances refinement with approachability.
