Job Description
Senior Sous Chef / Lead Sous Chef Mezza Luna Pasta & Seafood is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Sous Chef / Lead Sous Chef to join our leadership team. This is a hands-on position for a chef who can confidently lead a busy dinner service, maintain high standards, and support the Executive Chef in the daily operation of the kitchen. Responsibilities Lead and organize kitchen operations during service Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all dishes Work closely with the Executive Chef to execute menus and seasonal specials Supervise and support the kitchen team Maintain food safety and sanitation standards Assist with prep, production, and inventory as needed Take charge of the kitchen when the Executive Chef is off Qualifications 3+ years of professional kitchen experience Previous sous chef or kitchen leadership experience preferred Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong leadership and communication skills Experience with Italian cuisine is a plus Spanish speaking strongly preferred , as our kitchen team primarily speaks Spanish Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented Employment Full-time or Part-time Compensation based on experience We are looking for someone who takes pride in their craft, leads by example, and wants to be part of a kitchen that values quality, teamwork, and authentic Italian hospitality.
