Our menu blends tradition with refinement, offering an authentic dining experience rooted in craftsmanship and quality. Guests can savor the artistry of omakase-style dining at our sushi bar, where every course is thoughtfully curated by our chefs to highlight the finest seasonal ingredients. We are looking for experienced, charismatic, hard-working professionals to join our team. If you are looking to work, learn, and expand your knowledge in the restaurant, we would love to have you on the team! We are seeking a talented and experienced Sushi Chef to lead sushi preparation and uphold the highest standards of quality, presentation, and food safety in our restaurant. The ideal candidate has strong knife skills, deep knowledge of traditional and modern sushi techniques, and a passion for delivering an exceptional guest experience. Role Requirements and Responsibilities At least 2+ years of experience preferred. Must be able to work afternoon and night shifts. Expertise in Japanese cuisine and speciality fish. Provide an exceptional dining guest experience Must have prior knowledge in breaking down and preparing all types of fish with consistent and high quality results. Must have prior knowledge in preparing and making sushi (nigiri, sashimi, as well as rolls). Able to work fast, organized, and efficiently (taking into account portion, cost control, sanitation, and cleanliness). Knows and complies consistently with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures. Cleanliness and organization (i.e sharpening knife, keeping the station clean at all times). Excellent communication skills; Must be able to follow directions, as well as be a team player. Communicate with the team to ensure that special requests and food allergy considerations are met. Communicate effectively with all Kitchen Chefs, Executive Chef, management, and fellow team members. Pay:
$18.00 - $28.00 per hour
