This is a fantastic opportunity to prepare high-quality Japanese dishes for club members, guests, and special events in a professional, upscale environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare authentic Japanese cuisine, including sushi, sashimi, grilled dishes (yakitori, teppanyaki), ramen, and other traditional and modern Japanese specialties. Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency. Work closely with the Head Chef to develop and execute daily menus and seasonal specials. Ensure proper food safety, hygiene, and kitchen sanitation standards (ServSafe or equivalent). Manage station setup, prep work, and inventory.

Requirements:

4+ years of professional experience in a Japanese kitchen (restaurant, hotel, or club preferred). Strong knowledge of Japanese cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with flexible hours (including weekends and holidays). Professional attitude and excellent attention to detail. Food Handler's Certificate required. Able to speak and understand Japanese language preferred.
