Job Description
Responsibilities Organizing pastry production to meet demand Prepare pastries for cafe, catering & events in a timely and efficient manner following recipe guidelines Maintain high-level quality standards including consistency and presentation Ability to adapt to seasonal changes and pace of service Maintain appropriate portion control and monitoring ingredient levels Clean, stock and maintain prep area throughout shift Follow & maintain all sanitation standards for food, cleanliness, and safety Additional responsibilities as assigned by Executive Chef Qualifications Minimum 1 year pastry experience Excellent communication, listening, and time management skills Knowledge of kitchen equipment Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per day Capability to withstand warm temperatures and noisy environments Ability to lift & carry up to 50lbs Endure in various physical activities like reaching, bending, kneeling, climbing and moving about facility Shift times will vary between the hours of 6am & 4pm
