Job Description

Hi Chef, Thanks for your interest in joining the team at Primrose School of Leawood! We reviewed your application and would love to chat with you. In this role, you would be feeding about 150 little ones (ages 1-5) with nutritious meals. The schedule offers excellent work-life balance: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (or 3:30 PM).
NO WEEKENDS
Key Details & Responsibilities:
Solo Kitchen:
You will be working independently in the kitchen (no assistant), so time management is key.
Food Prep:
Preparing AM snack, lunch, and PM snack. Breakfast preparation is simple (cereal and milk).
Menu:
We use a kid-friendly, 4-week rotating menu that is simple to execute.
Service:
Delivering food via cart to 11 classrooms.
Morning Operations:
Preparing and distributing ice packs, water jugs, and bleach bottles to classrooms daily.
Cleaning:
Washing dishes, maintaining a tidy workspace, and deep-cleaning the fridge/freezer weekly.
Inventory:
Organizing deliveries and providing accurate inventory counts for the next week's order. Reliability is
