The Sous Chef works closely with the Executive Chef to support daily kitchen operations, ensure high-quality meal preparation, and provide an exceptional dining experience for our residents. This role helps maintain a well-organized, efficient kitchen while upholding the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation. The ideal candidate is passionate about cooking, enjoys working in a team environment, and takes pride in preparing nutritious and appealing meals for seniors. Schedule Full-Time Day and evening shifts as needed Weekend and holiday availability may be required Key Responsibilities Assist the Executive Chef with daily kitchen operations and meal preparation Prepare and cook meals according to menus, recipes, and dietary guidelines Ensure food is prepared and presented to high quality standards Support menu planning and meal service for residents and special events Supervise kitchen staff when the Executive Chef is not present Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper food storage in the kitchen Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations Assist with ordering, inventory, and managing kitchen supplies Qualifications Previous experience as a Sous Chef, Cook, or similar culinary role preferred Experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality dining is a plus Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work well in a team environment Passion for creating high-quality meals and providing excellent service Work where you feel valued...
