Job Description

Job Overview We are on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. This role is all about crafting memorable dining experiences through exceptional food quality, innovative menu development, and stellar kitchen management. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of culinary expertise, leadership skills, and a flair for fine dining to elevate our food offerings and ensure smooth kitchen operations. Duties Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high standards of quality and consistency. Lead menu planning and development, incorporating diverse cuisines and dietary needs to cater to a broad clientele. Manage inventory control and food management processes to minimize waste while maintaining sufficient stock levels for daily operations. Supervise kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated and efficient team. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold rigorous standards for cleanliness, hygiene, and safe food handling practices. Coordinate with catering and banquet services to deliver exceptional food experiences during special events. Monitor food service operations during shifts, providing guidance on food production, plating techniques, and service standards to ensure guest satisfaction. Requirements Proven experience in fine dining environments with strong background in hospital food services management, restaurant management or culinary leadership roles. Extensive knowledge of food industry best practices including food safety, inventory management, and dietary accommodations. Demonstrated supervisory experience managing kitchen teams in high-volume settings such as restaurants or catering services. Skilled in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management with an emphasis on quality control. Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management, motivation, and conflict resolution. Strong understanding of food service management principles including shift management, inventory control, and cost efficiency. Pay:
$70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
