Executive Sous Chef Burlington, MA An established, high-volume restaurant is seeking a talented and driven Executive Sous Chef to help lead the culinary team in Burlington. This is a senior culinary leadership position ideal for an experienced chef who thrives in a fast-paced, chef-driven environment. The Executive Sous Chef will partner closely with the Executive Chef to oversee daily kitchen operations, develop Back of House talent, drive culinary excellence, and ensure consistent execution of brand standards for long-term success.

$75,000+ based on experience Performance-Based Bonus Opportunities 401(k) Paid Time Off (PTO) Comprehensive Benefits Package Life Insurance Dining Discounts Opportunity to be part of a high-profile restaurant Career growth within a successful and expanding restaurant organization Key ResponsibilitiesCulinary Leadership Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring consistency, quality, and execution of culinary standards Lead daily food production, line execution, plating standards, and recipe adherence Manage food costs, inventory, purchasing, and waste reduction initiatives Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations Maintain excellence in food quality, presentation, and consistency across all shifts Operational Excellence Serve as the primary culinary leader in the Executive Chef's absence Support scheduling, labor management, productivity, and cost control initiatives Drive operational efficiency while maintaining high standards during peak service periods Assist with opening, closing, and ongoing operational procedures Ensure proper maintenance and care of kitchen equipment and facilities Team Development & Leadership Recruit, train, coach, and develop BOH team members and kitchen leaders Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement Conduct ongoing training and performance development for culinary staff Lead by example through strong floor presence and hands-on leadership during service Guest Experience Ensure every dish leaving the kitchen meets the highest standards of quality and consistency Partner with restaurant leadership to deliver exceptional guest experiences Help cultivate a positive, energetic, and performance-driven culture Required Skills & Qualifications 3-7+ years of Executive Sous Chef, Sous Chef, or senior Kitchen Management experience in a high-volume restaurant Proven leadership experience managing large culinary teams Strong knowledge of food cost controls, inventory management, purchasing, and labor management Excellent organizational, communication, and coaching skills Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining quality and consistency Strong culinary foundation with a passion for developing others Commitment to hospitality, teamwork, and operational excellence Apply Today If you're ready to take the next step in your culinary leadership career and be part of an exciting new restaurant opening, we encourage you to apply.
