  • MDV, PTO, 401k Seeking a refined, knife-in-hand sous chef to help the culinary program for a luxury boutique hotel.
Qualifications Proven fine dining experience with strong exposure to banquets or event-driven service in a luxury or boutique setting. Demonstrated leadership in a professional kitchen, including supervising cooks, managing prep and service execution, and mentoring team members. Strong operational foundation in food safety, inventory control, and multi-outlet or high-expectation environments, supported by ServSafe or equivalent certification. Responsibilities Support the Executive Chef in leading daily kitchen operations, ensuring every plate meets fine dining standards for execution, consistency, and presentation. Oversee and develop the culinary team during service, maintaining smooth workflow across restaurant and banquet functions while upholding food safety and sanitation standards. Manage production, inventory, and ordering to control costs, minimize waste, and ensure readiness for seasonal menus, special events, and dietary accommodations.
