Duties Skillfully prepare and assemble a variety of sushi rolls according to established recipes and presentation standards Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation throughout all stages of food handling and preparation Assist with menu planning by suggesting new roll ideas and seasonal ingredients to keep offerings fresh and innovative Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients to maximize freshness and minimize waste Support the kitchen team during busy service periods by maintaining efficiency and organization on the sushi station Handle food with care, ensuring all ingredients are prepared with precision using proper knife techniques Contribute to a positive dining atmosphere by serving guests promptly and courteously when required Qualifications Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable Demonstrated culinary experience with a focus on sushi or Asian cuisine preferred Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation and meal assembly Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures Experience working in fine dining, restaurant, or catering environments is advantageous Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Join us as a Sushi Roller and bring your culinary artistry to life!
