Job Description
Overview We are seeking an energetic and highly skilled Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, from menu development to food safety, ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for fine dining, extensive culinary expertise, and proven leadership abilities to inspire and manage a dynamic team. Responsibilities Lead and manage all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence in every dish. Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and meet diverse dietary needs, including catering and banquet services. Supervise kitchen staff, providing training, mentorship, and performance evaluations to cultivate a motivated and skilled team. Oversee inventory management, control food costs, and ensure proper food handling and storage practices in compliance with food safety standards. Coordinate with the catering and restaurant teams to ensure seamless service delivery during events and daily operations. Maintain strict adherence to health regulations, safety protocols, and sanitation procedures across all kitchen activities. Manage shift schedules, monitor food quality, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. Qualifications Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining environments. Proven supervising experience within a high-volume kitchen or hospitality setting. Knowledge of banquet, catering, and restaurant management operations. Strong skills in menu planning, food production, inventory control, and food safety practices. Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent team management and communication skills. Experience in dietary department coordination and managing diverse dietary requirements.
