Duties Assist in food preparation and cooking according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistent quality. Support the kitchen team during meal service, helping with plating and presentation to meet fine dining expectations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and hygiene regulations. Handle food items safely during storage, preparation, and service, following proper food handling procedures. Contribute to menu planning discussions by providing input based on ingredient availability and culinary trends. Participate in catering events and special functions, delivering exceptional service and meal quality. Support kitchen operations by managing stock levels, rotating ingredients, and assisting with inventory control. Skills Proven experience in demonstrating familiarity with specialized meal requirements Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation for specialty uisines. Experience with food safety standards and procedures to ensure a hygienic kitchen environment. ServeSafe Certificate Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of menu planning, catering services, and serving practices within fine dining or similar settings. Solid understanding of the food industry's best practices related to food service, kitchen operations, and culinary trends.
