We are looking for an experienced Executive Chef to take ownership of our culinary operations and lead our kitchen team. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who knows how to run a high-volume kitchen, develop a strong team, control costs, and consistently put out great food. What You'll Do Lead and oversee day-to-day kitchen operations Manage, train, schedule, and develop cooks and kitchen staff Maintain consistency in taste, portioning, presentation, and food quality Ensure recipes and Jerk at Nite standards are followed consistently Oversee food prep and execution during high-volume service Manage inventory, ordering, receiving, and product rotation Monitor food costs, waste, portions, and kitchen labor Maintain appropriate food and supply levels while minimizing unnecessary waste Enforce sanitation, food safety, cleanliness, and health department standards Develop systems that improve kitchen organization, speed, and efficiency Work closely with ownership and management on menu development, specials, catering, and restaurant operations Troubleshoot kitchen issues quickly and effectively Build a kitchen culture centered around accountability, teamwork, urgency, and respect What We're Looking For Previous Executive Chef, Head Chef, Kitchen Manager, or comparable culinary leadership experience Strong experience managing a high-volume restaurant kitchen Proven ability to lead and hold a kitchen team accountable Strong understanding of food cost, inventory, labor, waste, and portion control Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to maintain quality and consistency during busy service Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards Comfortable being hands-on and working alongside the team when needed Dependable, professional, solutions-oriented, and able to work under pressure Experience with Caribbean or Jamaican cuisine is a plus, but strong culinary leadership and the ability to learn our recipes and standards are most important The Right Person We're looking for more than a talented cook. The right Executive Chef understands that running a successful kitchen means balancing great food, strong leadership, consistency, speed, cleanliness, and profitability . You should be someone who can walk into a kitchen, identify what needs to improve, put systems in place, develop your team, and take ownership of the results.
