We're Hiring Falsetto Kitchen & Bar—where bold flavors, innovative techniques, and live music come together! Coming soon to Melford Town Center in Bowie, Falsetto will open a 7,500-square-foot restaurant and entertainment venue, and we are looking for a dynamic team!

Executive Chef / Head Chef We are seeking a skilled and motivated Sous Chef to support the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, highly organized, and capable of leading a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high culinary standards.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in planning and directing food preparation and kitchen operations
  • Supervise kitchen staff and ensure efficient workflow during service
  • Maintain consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
  • Hire, train, mentor, and develop the kitchen team members
  • Assist in inventory management, ordering, and cost control
  • Step in as acting head chef in the absence of the Executive Chef
  • Collaborate on menu development and seasonal offerings
  • Monitor portion control and minimize waste
  • Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • In-depth knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety standards
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
