# Sushi Helper ### Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and hardworking
- Sushi Helper
- to assist our sushi chefs with preparation and service. The ideal candidate works well with others, moves quickly, and is ready to support the sushi team whenever needed. ### Key Responsibilities
- Assist sushi chefs with daily sushi preparation.
- Prepare sushi ingredients and items as directed by the sushi chefs.
- Help sushi chefs stay organized and prepared for service.
- Quickly replenish ingredients and supplies needed at the sushi station.
- Assist with sushi preparation during busy service periods.
- Support other sushi chefs when needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized sushi station.
- Follow directions from the Lead Sushi Chef and other senior sushi chefs.
- Work efficiently and communicate well with the sushi team. ### Qualifications & Skills
- 2+ years of professional Japanese sushi experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Japanese sushi preparation and ingredients.
- Quick, efficient, and able to keep up during busy service.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Able to assist and prepare items for other sushi chefs.
- Reliable, responsible, and willing to learn.
- Able to follow instructions and work well as part of a sushi team.
