Actively support daily kitchen operations at a prestigious private school dining hall Prepare and oversee high-volume batch cooking for 300+ covers per day Execute and supervise display cooking with a strong focus on presentation and quality Assist the Executive Chef in ensuring smooth, efficient kitchen operations Manage food production, workflow, and daily prep schedules Handle ordering, inventory control, and proper product rotation Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and sanitation Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP, and sanitation guidelines Bring a diverse culinary skill set, including experience with international cuisines Lead, train, and support kitchen staff in a collaborative team environment

Schedule and hours may vary, as we are open 7 days a week- details to be discussed during the interview. Please note that this location is not accessible by public transportation.

Pay Type:

$19.00 - $20.00 Hourly

Interact cheerfully with SAGE guests and Team Members, providing service with a smile. Oversee the preparation of menu items in strict accordance with both SAGE recipes and HACCP guidelines. Clean all work areas, equipment, and guest service areas on an ongoing basis. Assist with inventory and ordering. Train, motivate, and oversee Cooks and culinary Team Members. Set a good example each day by being a role model and leader in the kitchen. What you'll need: Culinary degree or equivalent culinary experience required. Strong organizational skills required. Experience delegating tasks and following up with Team Members. Capacity to train and motivate others. ServSAFE® certification preferred, but not required. Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in English accurately.
