Your expertise in food preparation, cake decorating, and kitchen management will drive the quality and presentation of our pastry offerings. Responsibilities Lead the preparation and production of a wide variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts with attention to detail and presentation. Oversee production, ensuring each piece meets high standards of artistry and quality. Manage finished products to ensure freshness, safety, and visual appeal for retail or catering purposes. Supervise daily food production activities, maintaining efficiency while adhering to food safety standards. Train and mentor team members in food handling, culinary techniques, knife skills, baking methods, and customer service excellence. Ensure all kitchen operations comply with health regulations and safety protocols related to food handling and sanitation. Collaborate with the management team to develop new pastry recipes, menu items, and seasonal offerings that excite our customers. Requirements Proven pastry experience with a strong background in baking, cake decorating, and food preparation. Demonstrated culinary experience in a bakery, restaurant, or catering environment; prior kitchen experience is essential. Excellent pastry skills combined with knowledge of food safety standards in the food industry. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail under pressure. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor. Experience with food production processes including desserts, and catering operations preferred.
