Job Description

Job Summary To Apply for this Job Click Here We're looking for a Corporate Chef to step into a key executive leadership role overseeing culinary operations across seven communities in the Metro Detroit area. This is a high-visibility opportunity to lead and develop teams, bring consistency across locations, and elevate the overall dining experience while maintaining strong regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and oversight to culinary teams across 7 locations, each with an on-site chef Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and standards related to dietary services, health regulations, and licensing Lead menu development and innovation, including collaboration with vendors and test kitchens Drive performance in resident satisfaction, survey outcomes, and overall dining quality Oversee budgeting, cost controls, and procurement strategies across all communities Support hiring, training, and retention of culinary teams Partner closely with operations leadership; dotted-line support to site teams with direct reporting to executive leadership
Qualifications:
3-5+ years of multi-unit culinary leadership experience Background in senior living, skilled nursing, or regulated healthcare dining strongly preferred Formal culinary training required ServSafe certification and allergen training required Strong understanding of health regulations, survey processes, and compliance standards Proven leadership ability with a track record of developing teams and driving results Executive presence with the ability to operate at a C-suite level
