Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pastry Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating exquisite baked goods and desserts that delight our guests and elevate our dining experience. Your expertise in pastry arts, attention to detail, and dedication to food safety will ensure every pastry served is of the highest quality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary talent in a dynamic restaurant environment, contributing to memorable guest experiences through beautifully crafted desserts and baked treats. Responsibilities Prepare a variety of pastries, cakes, desserts, and baked goods with precision and creativity. Decorate cakes and pastries using advanced cake decorating techniques to enhance visual appeal. Package finished products carefully for presentation or takeout orders, ensuring freshness and quality. Follow recipes and food production standards to maintain consistency across all items. Assist in food preparation tasks, including measuring ingredients, mixing batters, and assembling desserts. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station, adhering to strict food safety protocols. Skills Proven experience in pastry arts, baking, and cake decorating with a strong portfolio of work. Excellent food handling skills and knowledge of food safety regulations. Proficiency in food preparation techniques specific to pastries, cakes, and confections. Strong knife skills for precise cutting and decorating tasks. Ability to operate kitchen equipment efficiently within a fast-paced environment. Experience with food industry standards Customer service mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
