Chef de Cuisine Fine Dining Restaurant | Missoula, MTThe Keep Restaurant is a well-established, locally owned, upscale dining destination in Missoula. We are seeking a talented and driven Chef de Cuisine to support our Executive Chef in leading a high-performing kitchen. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a restaurant known for refined cuisine, exceptional service, and memorable guest experiences. We are located in the south hills overlooking the Missoula Valley. We offer regular dinner service nightly as well hosting various events in our multiple dining rooms, including weddings, rehearsal dinners, business dinners, and golf tournaments on the adjacent 9-hole golf course, The Highlands Golf Club.

The Chef de Cuisine works closely with the Executive Chef to oversee daily kitchen operations, maintain quality standards, and lead the culinary team. This role is ideal for a skilled chef who is both creative and highly organized, with a passion for fine dining and event production.

Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Executive Chef in menu development, execution, and seasonal updates Lead and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and professional work environment Oversee dinner service to ensure consistency, timing, and presentation standards Coordinate and execute events including weddings, business functions, and golf tournaments Manage inventory, ordering, and food cost controls Maintain strict adherence to sanitation, safety, and quality standards Step into leadership role in the absence of the Executive Chef Qualifications3+ years of experience in a leadership role within a fine dining or upscale kitchen Strong understanding of classic and contemporary culinary techniques Experience with high-volume events and banquet execution preferred Excellent communication and team leadership skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment Culinary degree or equivalent experience What We OfferCompetitive salary based on experience Health and Dental InsuranceQuarterly BonusPaid Vacation TimeOpportunities for creative input and career growth A collaborative, team-focused kitchen culture The chance to work in one of Missoula s premier dining and event venues If you are passionate about delivering exceptional cuisine and ready to take the next step in your culinary career, we would love to hear from you.
