Job Summary To Apply for this Job Click Here Executive Pastry Chef Sumter, South Carolina | Relocation Assistance Available We are seeking an experienced Executive Pastry Chef in Sumter, SC to oversee pastry and dessert production for a well established hospitality group while also providing strategic direction for a retail bakery operation, ensuring consistent execution, elevated guest experience, and strong operational performance across all concepts. Compensation & Benefits Base salary up to $80,000 , commensurate with experience Performance-based bonus opportunities Medical, dental, and vision insurance

Employee discounts Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates Key Responsibilities Lead pastry and dessert production across bakery operations Establish and maintain standards for quality, consistency, and presentation Oversee retail bakery counter service experience and execution standards Develop seasonal menus, signature items, and new product offerings Train, mentor, and develop pastry and bakery team members Manage production planning, inventory, and ingredient sourcing Monitor food cost, labor efficiency, and operational performance Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards Partner with leadership on growth initiatives and product strategy What We're Looking For 5+ years of pastry or scratch baking leadership experience Strong background in scratch production within bakery, restaurant, hotel, resort, or multi-concept environments Proven ability to lead both production teams and guest-facing operations Strong technical pastry and baking expertise Experience with production planning, inventory, and cost control Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed Why This Opportunity Leadership role spanning both retail bakery and production for growing hospitality group Direct influence on recipe development and product innovation Opportunity to build and elevate a growing pastry program Collaborative environment with engaged ownership Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates If you are a driven pastry professional who thrives at the intersection of creativity, leadership, and operational excellence, we'd love to connect!
