Chef de Partie Beannchor Job description The Chef de Partie is responsible for the management and operation of a specific section in the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety. The role requires effective time management, a strong understanding of kitchen operations, and the ability to lead by example. Responsibilities Manage the smooth running of your section before, during, and after service, ensuring food quality and efficiency. Ensure that all food served to guests and staff is prepared and presented in line with the company's outlined standards. Ensure correct stock rotation and manage inventory within your section, minimizing wastage and recording it accurately. Adhere to HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) and COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) standards for food safety and hygiene. Skills and Qualifications Essential Skills 1 years experience in a similar busy gastro pub environment and hold a NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent, must be current) in a kitchen related discipline. Desirable Skills 2 years experience. First Aid Certificate (must be current)
