• 25, depending on experience and included tips We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sushi Chef to join our culinary team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a deep appreciation for Japanese cuisine. As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for creating high-quality sushi dishes that meet our restaurant's standards while ensuring exceptional presentation and flavor. This position requires a keen eye for detail, creativity in food presentation, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Duties Prepare and assemble sushi rolls, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling techniques. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including all utensils, equipment, and work surfaces. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies; assist in ordering as needed. Requirements Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. A passion for culinary arts with a focus on Japanese cuisine is highly desirable. Certification in food handling or safety is preferred but not mandatory.
