Job Description

Job Summary Tuscan Brands LLC is seeking a talented, passionate, and experienced Executive Chef to join our growing team. With seven locations throughout NH and MA, we are dedicated to delivering Rustic Artisan Italian cuisine using the finest ingredients imported directly from Italy and prepared from scratch. The Executive Chef will lead all back-of-house culinary operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, consistency, efficiency, and guest satisfaction. This position works closely with the Director of Food & Beverage on menu development and plays a key role in driving culinary innovation and business growth. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee all daily back-of-house kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service. Develop and maintain menus, recipes, seasonal specials, and new culinary concepts in partnership with leadership. Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, portion sizes, and adherence to Tuscan Brands' culinary standards. Oversee purchasing, receiving, storage, inventory, and relationships with food vendors. Monitor and control food and labor costs while minimizing waste and maintaining profitability. Establish and maintain proper recipes, portion controls, preparation procedures, and quality standards. Recruit, train, coach, and develop kitchen team members while fostering a positive, professional kitchen culture. Create schedules and staffing plans that support business needs and service standards. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, food safety, and organization throughout the kitchen. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and Department of Health regulations. Work closely with front-of-house leadership to ensure excellent communication and an outstanding guest experience. Monitor guest feedback and identify opportunities to improve food quality, service, and overall operations. Stay current with culinary trends and identify opportunities to introduce new products and concepts that increase sales. Qualifications Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or related degree preferred; equivalent experience considered. Proven experience in an Executive Chef or senior culinary leadership role. Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine and scratch cooking preferred. Knowledge of food safety, health codes, food cost, labor cost, and inventory management. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
