Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Kitchen Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. This energetic role requires a talented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong leadership, creativity, and a deep understanding of food preparation and kitchen management. The Kitchen Chef will oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure food safety standards are met, and inspire the team to craft innovative menus that delight our guests. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise while managing a vibrant kitchen environment focused on quality, efficiency, and hospitality excellence. Duties Lead and supervise all kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment and ensuring smooth shift operations Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet high standards of quality and consistency Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste Plan menus that reflect seasonal ingredients, dietary needs, and customer preferences while maintaining cost efficiency Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across the kitchen area Coordinate catering events, banquets, and special functions with precision and professionalism Supervise dietary department activities when applicable, ensuring special dietary requests are accurately prepared and served Monitor kitchen workflow during busy periods such as dinner service or large events to optimize productivity Train new team members in food handling, safety procedures, and culinary techniques Oversee shift management tasks including scheduling, resource allocation, and performance feedback Experience Proven experience in fine dining environments with a strong background in food production and culinary arts Demonstrated supervisory experience leading kitchen teams in high-volume settings Extensive banquet experience managing large-scale catering events with attention to detail Familiarity with restaurant management practices including inventory management, menu planning, and food service operations Knowledge of food safety standards such as HACCP or ServSafe certification preferred Experience in hospitality or food service management roles within the food industry is highly desirable Skilled in cooking techniques across diverse cuisines with an emphasis on presentation and quality control Background working within the restaurant or catering sectors with a focus on team management and leadership skills Join us as a Kitchen Chef to bring your culinary talents to life while inspiring your team to deliver memorable dining experiences.
