The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Italian Cuisine and kitchen management, with experience in michelin star and or fine dining. As a Sous Chef, you will assist the Executive Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining food safety standards. This role requires excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist in the planning and execution of menus, ensuring creativity and quality in all dishes served. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure high standards of food preparation and presentation. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels to minimize waste. Oversee food handling practices to comply with health regulations and safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained. Support team management by fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and growth. Requirements Proven experience as a Line Cook or Junior Sous Chef in a similar culinary role within the food industry. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling. Experience in menu planning, inventory management, and kitchen management. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Familiarity with fine dining standards is preferred. Strong cooking skills with an emphasis on creativity and presentation. Previous experience in restaurant management or hospitality is highly desirable. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams.
