Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Sushi Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing authentic sushi dishes with precision, creativity, and consistency. Your expertise will elevate the dining experience by crafting beautifully presented sushi that delights our guests. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary talents in a dynamic environment where quality and presentation are paramount. Responsibilities Prepare a variety of sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese-inspired dishes with attention to detail and authenticity Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation in all food preparation areas Develop innovative sushi recipes and presentation techniques to enhance menu offerings Manage ingredient inventory, ensuring freshness and proper storage of seafood, rice, vegetables, and other supplies Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours Educate and guide junior kitchen staff on sushi preparation techniques and best practices Uphold all safety protocols and adhere to health regulations consistently Requirements Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or similar culinary role specializing in Japanese cuisine Extensive knowledge of sushi preparation, knife skills, and ingredient handling Strong understanding of food safety standards and sanitation procedures Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards Creativity in plating and presentation to create visually appealing dishes Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed This role is ideal for a dedicated culinary professional eager to bring authentic sushi experiences to life.
