Job Description
Chef de Cuisine The renowned restaurant in Las Vegas is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Cuisine to join our team. As a Chef de Cuisine, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu creation, food preparation, and staff management. The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role and be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge of culinary techniques and flavors. You must also have excellent leadership skills and the ability to work well under pressure. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to showcase their creativity and passion for cooking in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create innovative menus that reflect the restaurant's concept and appeal to our guests
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, ensuring high-quality dishes are consistently served
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including scheduling shifts and delegating tasks
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavors
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train staff effectively
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food cost control methods and inventory management
